Message Along with the rebuild, a new clutch will be installed. I'm getting the RPS Street Sport Sprung Hub Disc and Housing, good for 600HP. Now, I was talking with one of my knowledgable Supra friends. He's installed a "Two-Step" or a off the line boost builder. We were discussing launching methods and I bought up how I've heard, to really prevent lots of tire smoke, to slip the clutch. He said that it's not good for a single disc clutch and that it might glaze part of the disc. He was then talking about how you really need to have a six puck or twin or triple disc system to prevent clutch damage while slipping it. I want to know if he's right and what opinions any of you might have. Thanks, I appreciate all the help.
